Back to the Sa.Fi.Ter Festival with “The Wedding Cake”!

I am so glad to be back with The Wedding Cake to one of the best Italian festivals, the Salento Finibus Terrae International Short Film Festival (aka Sa.Fi.Ter) where I won an award 5 years ago with “Dignity”! It feels like going back home and I would have love to be there in person at the stunning Teatro Verdi of San Severo, in Apulia. That area has a special place in my heart and I would have loved to visit again (among other things, to enjoy the best food in the world – I am not exaggerating!).

I am competing in the Human Right section, and the festival will take place 19-20 June, go if you can!

Gala screening of “The Wedding Cake” at FipaDoc!

I am so glad that FipaDoc managed to host a theatrical screening of their magnificent festival in Biarritz! The event is due 12-17 June and The Wedding Cake will be screened hors concours during the gala that will be held on 16 June, in between awards.

It is really exciting to think of my short on the big screen again, after so many months of online festivals! How I wish I were able to attend…

60th festival for “The Wedding Cake”: HER Docs!

I was really really hoping I would get to go to this amazing festival with The Wedding Cake when I submitted, imagine my happiness when I received confirmation! It feels lovely to also celebrate my 60th festival selection with HER Docs Film Festival!

The event is scheduled for September 3-7, 2021, and I am secretly hoping to attend and fulfill my dream of finally visiting Warsaw.

I was hoping I would get to participate to this lovely festival one day, ever since I moved to Sweden!!!

I am SO delighted and proud of being part of this important event, the IFEMA – International Female Film Festival Malmö is the oldest Swedish festival with focus on directresses! The Wedding Cake is one of the seven cherry-picked shorts featuring in the Saturday 17 April program at the Cinema Pandora (my favorite!), starting at 6 pm. Tickets are sold here.
