The Wedding Cake was selected by the lovely Fantaspoa Film Festival of Porto Alegre (BR) in 2021. Unfortunately, the festival could only be held online back then, but luckily – during the coming Noite dos Museus (“Night of Museums”) that will take place on May 20th – “The Wedding Cake” will be exhibited at “Cinemateca Capitólio”, apparently the most beautiful movie theater in Porto Alegre! I am extremely glad that my short will be screened again in a real cinema in front of a flesh and blood audience!
I am very happy that the fantastic women of the Sister’s Wild Cinema have asked me to screen The Wedding Cake during a film event organized for the Equal Pay Day, tonight at 6:30 p.m. at M25, Münsterplatz 25, in Ulm, in collaboration with the Women’s Office of the City of Ulm and the Neu-Ulm District Equal Opportunity Office.
What an amazing experience the Ifema filmfestival with my short “Just Looking” screened in front of a sold-out theater Panora in Malmö! Thank you for organizing such an exciting and memorable event that filled my heart with joy, pride and love

Tomorrow Saturday 6 August at 9pm my old music video for Daniel Karlsson Trio “Cousin Cuisine” will be shown in Rome at the event “A female family night”. The event is the result of a collaboration between the group Mujeres nel Cinema and MAG – Movimento Artistico Giovanile under the “Estate Romana” event.
I am really happy that this sweet and funny video can meet such a young audience and I hope it will be appreciated 🙂
The evening with free admission is presented by Miriam Previati and Giulia Rosa D’Amico from Mujeres nel Cinema. The address is via Caiazzo 74 (Parrocchia di San Patrizio), Rome.
Those of you who can’t be there tomorrow may watch the video here instead 🙂

The Wedding Cake selected by the Falvaterra Film Festival, a very nice new festival in a charming town south of Rome that will take place at the end of July! I am very glad for this selection and it would be great to reach to the final!
I have not submitted The Wedding Cake to new festivals since a while – feeling very satisfied about my results so far! – but a friend really wanted me to go for a very special one that has a magical aura, the LIFE AFTER OIL International Film Festival holding its 9th edition in September this year. I am totally thrilled that they selected my film and I can’t wait to see how the Sardinian audience will receive it!
In fact, it will be my premiere on Sardinia, and I will do all possible to be there in person! It is a big celebration also because with LIFE AFTER OIL IFF The Wedding Cake reaches eighty festival selections! I feel incredibly proud and I want to celebrate in person in the small town of Villanovaforru on 20-24 September. Continue reading
