Wow! To get selected for a festival is a merry thing, but receiving a “Certificate of excellence” on top of that makes a big impact, I must confess!
And with this one “Dignity” surpasses the goal of SIXTY festival participation, what a ball!
One of Italy’s most prominent websites about jazz got curious about my shortfilm “The Coltrane code” so Marco Losavio, chief editor of Jazzitalia.net interviewed me about it, so nice!
We have decided to offer all readers the possibility of watching it exclusively for a few days, so why not taking the chance now if you are also curious? Check the piece out here and find link and password to it!
It makes me smile – and happy! – when two of my shorts are selected for the same festival. Even more so when it is two such opposite works like “The Coltrane Code” and “Dignity”! A glad surprise by the International Short Film Festival Beveren!
I am always extremely happy when my first important short film, “Midsommar”, gets selected for a festival after so many years. It remains my favorite narrative short and I get very emotional when it is competing somewhere!
This time especially as I really like this festival in its political intentions. The Hope-First FF aims to human rights and anyone can watch all the competing films on its Youtube channel. The film that are most watched will be joint into a single movie that is broadcasted on the conclusive event on July 14th, 2018. So should you want to watch it (again?) it can be a good idea to do so here.
And even “Dignity” is present, hors councours! You can see it here!
A couple of shots taken during my interview about my novel “Di morire libera” [“To Die Free”] at Radio Vaticana with Rosario Tronnolone, in the company of Meg Mason and Mara Miceli.
A link to my interview (in Italian only sorry!) released to Paesenews TV channel right before the presentation of my novel “To Die Free” last week in Caspoli at the Associazione Museo Historicus.
My love story with Belgium continues 🙂
“The Coltrane Code” in the Moving Pictures Festival first selection!
“The Coltrane Code” finally in Canada!! I am dreadfully happy for this result in a country that I love so much for many reasons, albeit I never visited it!
Thank you Shiver International Film Festival – please visit the festival October 14th – 15th, 2017. Pride and Joy!
Double selection again!! “Dignity” and “Coltrane” together again at the Internationaal Kortfilmfestival Kalmthout!
Incredible!! Both “Dignity” and “The Coltrane Code” selected by the Festival Visualízame Audiovisual&Mujer of Alcalá la Real (Jaén, Spain), that has reache its 7th edition. The screening will take place from September 29th to October first. Too bad I cannot go!
