Boston!! I have so lovely memories from this city, and I wish I could go back! In the meanwhile, it is my big pleasure and honor to be there virtually again thru a festival that celebrates female power in film: what could be better?

New festival for The Wedding Cake! I’m back to the Basque Country to compete at the Kursaal Film Festival San Sebastián that will start tomorrow, September 15th, until September 30th.

I made a short bumper for the festival!

The Wedding Cake must be a really lucky short! I am now looking forward to two more prestigious festivals ahead! First the grand 43rd Drama International Short Film Festival (DISFF), one of the oldest short film festivals in Europe, that will take place 20 – 26 September 2020 in Drama, Greece. I am extremely flattered my short was one of the 35 shorts selected among 2000 (!!) applicants!
Some weeks later, 10 – 16 October, comes the supercool 10th International Short Film Festival of Cyprus the most important and prestigious short film festival of Cyprus!

Oh gosh! This is incredible! I am going to the amazing Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) again!! My films Midsommar and Dignity have both been selected in the past, so that The Wedding Cake will be screened on the 19th edition feels like a homecoming! The festival will be held in Dhaka from 16th to 24th of January 2021.

I feel so lucky and thrilled that The Wedding Cake continues to be selected to festivals all over the world! Between September and November there are more screenings coming on for the Argentinian Invicines and the Paraná Internacional Film Festival and the Colombian Festival Internacional de Cine por los Derechos Humanos that will take place in various cities: Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Pereira and Suacha.

A new selection for The Wedding Cake! This time is finally in Denmark, for the Copenhagen Short Film Festival, so I truly hope I will be able to attend in person!
