Ny installation “Just Looking”

Tack!

New project for “Dignity no-profit People”

As a derived project of my documentary film “Dignity”, a brand new project was started, called “Dignity no profit people“. We are now extremely happy to announce that the project is expanding even more, as we are buying some land to build a multipurpose center where we plan for educational, handicrafts, health, sports, theatrical and you-name-it projects!

If you have any ideas you want to share with us, please feel free to come with proposals! We are open and curious, and do not focus on money but on love, creativity & effort from all who believe that single small acts of beauty do make a difference! As our page is mainly in Italian, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me, should you feel curious about more!

Kul!

Narrator for concerts dedicated to Rome

I had the great pleasure and honor to be invited to narrate about my home town Rome by one of the most important musical institutions of the city of Gothenburg, the Göteborg Wind Orchestra, located in the oldest building in town – the Kronhuset.

Directed by Maestro Niklas Wallén, I will have the opportunity of narrating about the Eternal City from a sightly more subtile and unusual perspective.  I will use the four elements of water, earth, air and fire, that give an emotional experience even to the occasional tourist.

Double concert tomorrow in the town of Tidaholm, and grand concert on Saturday, 4 pm at the Kronhuset!

At RAI 1 morning radio show “Il caffè di Raiuno”

I made a video appearance on the morning show “Il caffè di Raiuno today.  I was invited to talk about my beloved Sweden stating why I love to live here; a very easy tack indeed! The program is in Italian obviously, but here’s the link to RaiPlay to watch the show, if you want to have a look. I appear towards the end of the program, at around 0:46:00.
It’s been a lot of fun shooting the video!

Honorary member of “Dignity No Profit People”

Some of you may know that my biggest success as a directress is a short documentary called “Dignity” which I filmed in Mozambique 3 years ago. It is about some girls that lived in an orphanage and it affected me deeply. Travelling to Africa and film these girls was by no means a directing experience for me but just the first sparkle of a longlasting cooperation with a project that actually changed from what it was to become something new and different. Dignity film turned into Dignity No Profit People because Emanuela Bonavolta and I realized that these girls were growing up and needed something more than security and education. They needed inspiration to develop into what they wanted to be, and they they need our economical support to reach their goals. So much has happened since then, the organization has supported them in many ways and so many more challenging projects are ahead of us. Therefore, I feel extremely glad and honored to receive this honorary membership today. Thank you.
