A great honor – and responsibility! – that ONE Country ONE Film festival chose “Dignity” to represent Mozambique! I am very glad because to me this documentary belongs to the girls from Chitima, rather than being just “about” them. So it feels this is actually their movie in a truer sense!
The festival will take place at the end of July in France, in the Apchat-Issoire area, so all the details are yet to be communicated. In the meanwhile, YAY! 🙂
I am soooo happy and proud for having been selected for the Diritti a Todi Human Rights Film Festival! A politically significant festival chose Dignity to compete this year, and the film will be screened twice: at the opening, on Wednesday January 25th, at 3:30 pm, and on Friday 27th, at around 5 pm. I cannot be there but I would love at least Emanuela Bonavolta to attend, let’s hope it is possible!
“Dignity” selected for the Maazzeni Film Festival of Paternò, near Catania. I am on my beloved island of Sicily, at last!
Screening tomorrow, January 3rd, beginning 8 pm. don’t miss it!
Another splendid result for “Dignity” that wins yet another festival!
It was awared as “Best Documentary Film” at the Petrozavodsk Karelian International Film For Youth.
Champagne!!
As I will not be able to attend the Torino Comics Horror Film Festival tomorrow morning, so I have prepared this short video presentation (in Italian only, sorry!) But you are most welcome to attend as the film is actually in English with Italian subtitles 🙂 So go!!!
This short film was prepared for the Röda Sten Konsthall, the most interesting art exhibition location in Gothenburg (not to say the whole of Sweden!).
It is meant to recap the activities done during 2016 and to thank all people who made it special – once again!
The photographer and editor is Magnus Bergström, and I was assisted by Mikael Moiner during the shooting.
Archive images belong to Attila Urban and Hendrik Zeitler, while the music is courtesy of Jason Farnham.
I have received the honor of being a representative for the Member Committee for one of the most amazing places in Göteborg since a few months, the Röda Sten Konsthall. It is an old boiler house that has been transformed into a an amazing exhibition center. This weekend I am there with my colleague Benny Farsäter for the artistic Christmas market: come by!
The Swedish Embassy in Rome kindly asked me to send them a short clip to tell why (and how much!) I love being in Gothenburg during the Christmas period, to be used on their Facebook page in theri Advent Calender, and here it is!
Something very simple but hopefully enjoyable, that I made with the support of my husband, the photographer Mikael Moiner.
