“The Coltrane Code” finally in Canada!! I am dreadfully happy for this result in a country that I love so much for many reasons, albeit I never visited it!

Finally my copy of the anthology “Deaths in Venice”, containing my short story “A Rose” has reached Sweden! Happy and proud, congratulations to the publisher, Carteggi Letterari Edizioni from Messina, and the curator (and powerful writress) Laura Liberale!

Double selection again!! “Dignity” and “Coltrane” together again at the Internationaal Kortfilmfestival Kalmthout!
Incredible!! Both “Dignity” and “The Coltrane Code” selected by the Festival Visualízame Audiovisual&Mujer of Alcalá la Real (Jaén, Spain), that has reache its 7th edition. The screening will take place from September 29th to October first. Too bad I cannot go!
So I went as far as semi-finalist with “Dignity” at the Atlanta Docufest, that was held at the Synchronicity Theatre from 8th to 10th of September!
On August 25th “Coltrane” will be screened at the fantastic MusiCanZone Film Festival in Ancona, from pm to midnight at the FabLab – Via del Commercio 4, Falconara (Ancona)! Very excited and keep fingers crossed for the following day, for the award night 🙂
I am very glad and proud to announce the launching of a new anthology curated by the very elegant Laura Liberale for Carteggi Letterari book publisher. The book is available in Italian only, at present.
I am particularly satisfied with it because of the quality of the other contributors, and also because I am very fond of the story I wrote for it. It is called “A Rose” and I owe its inspiration to a friend from New York that I am very fond of.

In the meanwhile, as I was almost on holidays, my “Coltrane” was screened at the sweetest Catalan festival that has reach its fourth edition, the CinemArt International Film Festival of Pineda de Mar.
And with this one, we have reached the 23rd selection for this shortfilm!
As you can see from this nice laurel, it looks like my “Dignity” still has some bullets to shoot 😛
Official selection for the Austin Revolution Film Festival, a festival with a very nice title!
A lot is happening around my novel “Di morire libera” (“To Die Free“) as I had a presentation of the book in the amazing location of Castel dell’Ovo in Naples, with a full house and a very interesting panel! I feel blessed and proud, as the city mayor Mr. de Magistris granted the city patronage!
Many articles have been published about this event, and there is also a nice TV interview with me 🙂
