\"\"<\/a>What a blast! The editor of The Wedding Cake<\/em><\/a>, Mikael Moiner<\/a>, won the prize for \u201cBest Editing Award\u201d at the lovely Noto International Film Festival<\/a>, Sicily. The statuette is on its way, both Mikael and I will show it with pride as soon as received!<\/p>\n

The ceremony can be watched on Facebook at this link<\/a>, the part that involves us starts at around 8:24, and both Mikael and I are proud about the motivation of the jury (which included stellar film experts, among them Steve Della Casa): “An extraordinary visual and audio montage made of frequent cuts and flash images that gives body and expressive quality to the voiceover story, offering a luminous film version of a desperate life.” The president of the jury, Liotta, also mentioned the high quality and the technical maturity of this work.
