In fact, the famous Swedish director Ingmar Bergman shot some of his masterpieces on this island, where he lived for the better part of his late life.<\/p>\n<p>Every year, during the event, a handful of directors from Sweden that are considered talented are selected by <em><a href=\"https:\/\/filmgotland.se\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Film p\u00e5 Gotland<\/a><\/em> for some special workshops and seminars. This year the number was restricted to 8, but still, I got to be one of them!
