“The Wedding Cake” back to Poland for the Publicystyka 2020

I am very happy that “The Wedding Cake” is competing again in Poland at the 27th International Independent Film Festival in the name of Ireneusz Radz PUBLICYSTYKA 2020. In a country where some fundamental women rights are denied or fought against, I can only wish that my short could give a tiny contribution to the reflections about these issues.

Selection number 30: Ladybug Filmfestival!

You just can’t imagine how happy I am to be part av such a superfestival as Ladybug Festival with “The Wedding Cake”! It’s going to be my thirtieth festival selection and I believe it is worthwhile celebrating!

Also, I am particularly happy and proud to be able to present my short once again in my hometown Gothenburg! If you can, don’t miss the LadyBugShortFilmMarathon 2020 Friday 23 October from 8:30 to 11:00 PM, in one of my favorites theaters, Bio Roy!

Award from Demetera IFF safely received!

I am so proud of this award! Demetera International Film Festival managed to arrange an involving and emotional festival despite the restrictions imposed by coronavirus and despite being it online, I really had a beautiful experience of my participation!
Receiving the physical award today was a great gift and it confirmed the seriousness and dedication of the special people behind this event ❤️
Thank you SO MUCH, it means a whole lot to me 🥰

Interview by Ekko Filmmagasinet

Thea Torp from Danish Ekko Filmmagasinet interviewed me today, connected to my participation to the magnificent Copenhagen Short Film Festival, and it was a very interesting conversation! My knowledge of Danish language is limited but I got the most of it, and I am very pleased!

Her lærte hun også kvinden bag historien at kende.

“The Wedding Cake” finally in Poland at the Tofifest!

I am very thrilled to be part of festival that makes it a point of being “rebellious”!

The Wedding Cake will be screened at the 18th edition of the Tofifest International Film Festival that will take place in Torun, from 17th October to 25th October 2020. The festival openly supports Belarusians by having a very interesting section called “Viva Belarus!”, presented by stating: “it will be a symbolic manifestation of our solidarity with the Belarusian people fighting for their freedom.
I am proud of being virtually there!
