My short “The Wedding Cake” selected for the RVK Feminist Film Festival in Reykjavik!

My new short film “The Wedding Cake” will have its world premiere in Iceland!
It was supposed to be just a pilot for a larger docudrama artistic film project that I am very thrilled about, but when I heard about the exciting RVK Feminist Film Festival last September, I felt that I wanted to hurry up and finish it so that it could participate.
Imagine my happiness when I was notified that it was selected to compete in Reykjavik, between 16th and 19th of January.
I feel so glad and proud right now!
I will inform you about the programming asap, in case you are there! I hope I can be there myself of course!

The poster of “The Wedding Cake”

Please allow me to introduce the poster of my new short film “The Wedding Cake”! It is a pilot for a larger docudrama artistic film project that I am very thrilled about!

Thanks to everyone who worked on this short! Mikael Moiner DoP −editor and colorgrader−, Adriana Rosati −designer artist of the cake and the scenographer−, Astrid Hallén −voice over actress−, Veli-Matti Äijälä −music score composer−, Riccardo Cimino from Suonilab −sound mastering−, Amer Kapetanović −additional lighting– and Giulia Colavolpe Severi −translator.

Most of all I want to thank from the bottom of my heart Simon Häggström that is my antiprostitution hero, and the organization Talita that does an irreplaceable job in supporting women who leave prostitution. This short film would not have existed without you.

My novel is out!

Here’s the cover of my new novel “To die Free”, that comes out in Italy today!
The English version is almost ready so my agent will try and place it with a publisher… stay tuned!
